Dorothea Ann Olson, a 61-year-old resident of Princeton, died on Saturday, July 17, 2004 at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2004 at the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, east of Palmer, IA.
General visitation will begin at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Home in Princeton, where a family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m.
Mrs. Olson was born on April 2, 1943 in Ft. Dodge, IA, the daughter of Eval and Emma Vinke Pouelson. She graduate from Gilmore City, IA, High School and moved to Princeton in 1984. She worked as a cook in Lineville, IA and Mercer and worked at ConAgra in Milan for 15 years as a line worker and a union representative. She was currently working at the Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton in medical supplies. She loved birdwatching, woodworking and all crafts.
She is survived by one son, Rick Olson and his wife, Teresa, of Eagle Grove, IA; two grandsons, Jerod Olson and his wife, Lindsay, and Jessie Olson; and one great-grandson, Issac Olson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
