Trenton Police Chief Bob Lewis is reminding residents to lock their vehicles and remove valuables from them in the wake of a string of thefts.
Chief Lewis said two juveniles were taken into custody in the early morning hours of Wednesday in connection with the thefts, with property that had been reported stolen recovered by officers. Lewis said almost all of the thefts were from unlocked vehicles, with property laying in sight of those passing by the vehicle.
