Frances Louise “Frankie” Lemon Anderson, 63, passed away at her home on Monday, June 21, 2004 after a brief illness.

Frances Louise “Frankie” Lemon Anderson, 63, passed away at her home on Monday, June 21, 2004 after a brief illness. She was under the care of her daughters and Wright Memorial Hospital Hospice.
She was born on April 28, 1941 to Joyce A. “Buster” and Lois Grimes Clark in Illinois. She was raised by Art and Lela Grimes of Laredo She attended Laredo High School and played for the Laredo Tigers throughout her school years.
She married Ray Lemon on Nov. 16, 1958 in Laredo. They were married for 20 years and had three daughters, Rhonda, Tonia and Julie. She married John Anderson on July 25, 1985 and they lived in Trenton. John died in May 1997.
Frances enjoyed playing country music and could play several instruments. She had her own radio show when she was a young woman. She owned and operated the Nu-Look Upholstery Shop in Chillicothe and Trenton for several years. She also had the Wild West Trading Post in Trenton.
Frances enjoyed fishing, playing Bingo, blackjack and playing music in the evenings with friends and family. She liked to ride motorcycles, going camping and cooking. She also loved her pets.
Survivors include her daughters, Rhonda Gear of Trenton, Tonia and husband, Robert Sayer, of Trenton and Julie Snidow and husband, Jay Blackburn, of Galt; stepchildren, John, Cliff and Tammy Anderson; half-sisters, Judy Heriford of Overland Park, KS and Karen Clark; half-brothers, Rick Heriford of New Buffalo, MI, Dennis Clark and Frankie Clark; aunts, Mary Herrin of Trenton and Darlene Arnold of Gladstone; one uncle, Kenny Grimes of Warsaw; grandchildren, Maralina Conner, Melissa Pierce, Eric Wayne Sayer, Natosha Snidow and Tiffany Snidow; eight step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two loyal pets of the home, Cody-Jo and Gizmo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Lois and Art and Lela; husbands, Roy and John; aunts, Gail Rhoandz and Virginia Westwood; uncle, Eugene Grimes; and grandmother, Venus Coberly.
The family prefers memorials be made to the Wright Memorial Hospital Hospice Care. Memorials may be left at or sent to the Heritage Funeral Home, 3141 N. Washington, Chillicothe, MO 64601.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2004 at the funeral home with a visitation one hour prior to the service. A family dinner will be held following the service. Calling will be from 9 a.m., to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23, 2004 and Thursday until the time of the funeral.
