Donald Courtney, an 82-year-old former resident of Trenton, died on Thursday, June 10, 2004 at the Regency Care Center in Norwalk, IA, where he had resided since April 2004.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 14, 2004 at Goode?s Chapel Cemetery in Milo, IA.
Mr. Courtney was born in Milo. He lived in Milo and Indianola, IA before retiring and moving to Trenton 20 years ago. He worked in construction and also in maintenance for the Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, IA.
He is survived by two brothers, Deane of West Des Moines, IA and Raymond of Mexico, MO; one sister, Freda Schriefer of Indianola; and numerous nieces and nephews.
