Lois Egeland Williams, an 81-year-old resident of Trenton, died today (Thursday, June 3, 2004) in Trenton. She was a former resident of Kansas City and Liberty.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2004 at the Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton. Private burial will be at the Resthaven Cemetery, north of Trenton.
Pallbearers will be Kristen Wortman, Kari and Kimberly Williams and Andrew, Michael and Jonathan Mathews.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter, Melanie Mathews and her husband, Bruce, of Kansas City; a son, Bradley Williams and his wife, Susan, of Ceresco, NE; a sister, Evelyn Belshe of Trenton; a brother, Edmund Egeland and his wife, Wanda, of Trenton; five grandchildren, Andrew Mathews and his wife, Deanna, Michael Mathews, Kristen Wortman and her husband, Jeremy, Kari Williams and Kimberly Williams; a great-grandson, Jonathan Mathews; a great-granddaughter, Ella Mathews; and four nephews, David Sayer, Calvin Belshe, David Egeland and Jerry Egeland.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Dale G. Williams, on April 1, 1993; her parents, Edmund and Agnes Egeland; and two sisters, Julia and Dora.
The family has suggested contributions be made to the Grundy County Senior Center at 2901 Hoover Drive, PO Box 173, Trenton, MO 64683.
