Property owners are being reminded that they are responsible for their own yard waste, but the city of Trenton has set up a site for persons to bring leaves and twigs left from the recent storms.

While leaves and twigs are not to be put on the street right of way, the city is allowing those items to be taken to the city burn site, located on Pleasant Plain, north of 40th Street between noon and 8 p.m. today through Friday. An employee will be on site during those hours.

Larger limbs can be taken to the street barn from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday throughout the year. The area is also open on the first Saturday of each month from 9 to 11 a.m.
