Author Night At The Library
Author Night will be held at the Grundy County-Jewett Norris Library on Tuesday, June 28.
The free event will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and will feature author June Rae Wood, who will discuss her brother, who has Downs Syndrome and is the topic of her books, and local author Evelyn Trickel, who will discuss the orphan trains that ran from 1854 to 1929. Refreshments will be available at the event, which is part of the Young Adults Reading Program, but is open to all members of the community.
