Maggie I. Noll, a 99-year-old resident of Port Orange, FL, died on Friday, May 14, 2004 at a hospice care center. She was a former resident of Jamesport.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2004 at the United Methodist Church at Jamesport under the direction of the Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery at Jamesport.
A family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 21, 2004 at the Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany. A general visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Noll was born on Oct. 29, 1904 in Mercer County the daughter of Clarence Taylor and Fannie Thomas Hampshire. She moved to Jamesport with her parents and younger sister, Maxine in April 1916. She attended the Jamesport school and graduated from the Jamesport High School in 1923.
She was married on June 8, 1923 to Earl Noll, who preceded her in death on May 28, 1969.
She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a charter member of the Pollyanna Club, a former member of the Fortnightly club, a member of the United Methodist Women and the 4-H club. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Jamesport for 80 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Alice M. Darnell and her husband, Gregory, of Orange City, FL; a son, LeRoy Noll and his wife, Nola, of Enid, OK; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Earl Dean; a son, C.E. Noll; and a daughter, Norma McReynolds.
