Bobby Andrew Thogmartin, a 69-year-old resident of rural Princeton, died on Friday, May 14, 2004 at Saint Luke?s Hospital in Kansas City.

Bobby Andrew Thogmartin, a 69-year-old resident of rural Princeton, died on Friday, May 14, 2004 at Saint Luke?s Hospital in Kansas City.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at the Wise and Slater Funeral Chapel at Spickard. Rev. Robert Darby will officiate. Burial will be at the Princeton Cemetery in Princeton. Military graveside services will be conducted by Joseph L. Norton VFW Post No. 919 at Trenton.
A visitation will be held from 7 to 8 o?clock tonight (Monday, May 17, 2004) at the funeral home.
Mr. Thogmartin was born Oct. 20, 1934 in Princeton, the son of Russell and Hardy Theo Dykes Thogmartin. He attended Prince-ton schools. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator for the city of Liberty street department and then retired as a foreman from the city of Gladstone street department after 28 years of work. He had lived in Liberty, Gladstone and Kansas City before moving to the Modena community in November of 1994.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was married on April 16, 1962 at Nashua to Rose Marie Stacey, who survives of the home.
He is also survived by two daughters, Kelly Harris of Spickard and Linda Byrd and her husband, Ralph, of Leavenworth, KS; three sons, Rick Ward and his wife, Dianna, of Excelsior Springs, Terry Ward and his wife, Kristine, of Spickard, and Mark Thogmartin of the state of Texas; three brothers, Russell Thogmartin and his wife, Sandra, of Colorado, Richard King and his wife, Phyliss, of Winston and Glen King and his wife, Kathy, of Tindall; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sons, Mikek Thogmartin, Jimmie Keith Thogmartin and Glenn Ward; one daughter, Mona Thogmartin; and four brothers, Bob King, Leonard King, Leroy Thogmartin and Billy Thogmartin.
