Eula Deen Adkins, a 93-year-old resident of New Hampton, died on Sunday, April 11, 2004 at a Chillicothe health care center.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at the Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany. Burial will be in the Foster Cemetery at New Hampton.
A family visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday. General visitation is now under way.
Mrs. Adkins was born in Harrison County on Feb. 1, 1911, the daughter of John Floyd and Bertha Mae Edgar Smith. She was married on May 26, 1928 to Frank Adkins, who preceded her in death on Aug. 11, 1984. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Hampton Christian Church.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Adkins of Trenton; three grandchildren, Pamela Robertson and Douglas and Robert Adkins; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Royce Adkins; and a sister, Autolean Baker.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Foster Cemetery and/or the Chillicothe Hospice.
