Eleanor Wykoff Heriford, an 89-year-old resident of 401 Dekalb in Princeton, died on Thursday, April 8, 2004 at the Eastview Manor Care Center at Trenton.
The body was cremated under the direction of the Slater Funeral Home at Trenton.
Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2004 at the Modena Baptist Church in Modena. Revs. Guy Olin Thomas and Dan Wilford will officiate.
A family visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the church
Mrs. Heriford was born on July 9, 1914 in Wahoo, NE, the daughter of Raymond Mathias and Blanche Hudkins Lampert. She lived in Kansas City, KS from 1940 to 1977 and worked as a home economist for Guaranteed Foods of Kansas City KS. She moved to the Princeton area in 1977.
She was a member of the Modena Baptist Church in Modena.
She was married in 1938 to Lee Arlo Wykoff, who preceded her in death in 1967. She was married in May 1977 at Kansas City, KS to Rev. Leland I. Heriford, who preceded her in death in August 1999.
She is survived by two daughters, Gail Honn of Houston, TX and Josephine Hampton and her husband, Ron, of Creve Coeur; one son, Art Heriford and his wife, Nadine, of Cameron; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Michael and Susan Honn, Kevin and Dana Hampton, Ronda and Dennis Sulltrop, Brian and Monique Heriford, Jason and Shannon Heriford, Beth and Bob Dusin and Christopher Spicer; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; and one granddaughter, Kathy Honn.
The family suggests memorials to the Modena Baptist Church.
