Janet Esther Miller, a 78-year-old resident of Watertown, WI and former resident of DeForest, WI, dies on Friday, April 2, 2004 at the Watertown Memorial Hospital in Watertown. She was the mother of Noreen Maxwell of Trenton.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. today (Monday, April 5, 2004) at the Edwardson-Axtell Community Funeral Home in DeForest. Brother Brad Maxwell officiated. Burial was in the Windsor Cemetery in Windsor Township, Dane County.
Mrs. Miller was born on Sept. 3, 1925 in DeForest, the daughter of Robert and Esther Bullen Karow. She was married on June 23, 1944 to Walter Miller, who preceded her in death on March 3, 1976.
She is survived by four children, Esther Whitman and her husband, Larry, of Almond, WI, Noreen Maxwell and her husband, Brad, of Trenton, Doreen Drescher and her husband, Richard, of Sun Prairie, WI and Ronald Miller and his wife, Kathy, of Watertown; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Douglas Karow and his wife, Betty, of DeForest; two sisters-in-law, Martha Karow of the state of Ohio and Thelma Karow of DeForest; and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Deette; three brothers, Robert, William and Howard Karow; and a half-sister, Bernadine Ringstad.
