Missouri Highway Patrol Sgt. Andrew O. Tourney has been transferred to Zone 4 at Trenton, where he will serve as the zone commander.
Tourney is an eight-year veteran of the patrol and comes to Trenton from St. Joseph. He is a native of Hannibal and earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Truman State University at Kirksville. He is married to the former Carrie Sweet of Center. In addition to Grundy County, Zone 4 also encompasses Mercer and Livingston counties.
Sgt. David Eads has been transferred from Zone 8 at Cameron to the Gaming Division and has been assigned to a Kansas City area gaming boat. Eads, a native of Trenton, is a 26-year veteran of the patrol and is married to the former Charla Peters. They have three children, including Kristi Eckerson of Trenton.
