The Grundy County Republican Central Committee elected delegates for congressional and state conventions during the county caucus held Saturday at the VFW Hall in Trenton.
Grundy County will send five delegates and five alternates to each of the meetings. The Sixth Congressional meeting will be held on Saturday, April 24 in Cameron while the state convention will be held June 4-5 in Springfield.
Elected as delegates to the Sixth Congressional meeting were Becky and Dennis McDonald, Robert and Judith Darby and Diane Raynes. The alternates are Franklin Bosley, Colleen Kidd, Greg Lamp and James and Rhonda McIntosh.
Selected as delegates to the state meeting were Meredith Black, Troy Smith, Dennis McDonald, Greg Lamp and Franklin Bosley. Alternates will be Gary Black, Cathy Smith, Becky McDonald, Tim Whitaker and L.D. Gibson.
