The Princeton City Council met on Monday night, signing a service contract and a proclamation.

According to City Clerk Keri Stamper, the council approved a service contract with the Mercer County Fair Board, allowing the city to provide $2,000 for musical entertainment at this year’s fair. Mayor Mike Greenlee signed a proclamation, designating the month of May as Motorcycle Awareness Month in Princeton. Gordon Becton from the Freedom of the Road Riders presented the proclamation and told the council a proclamation ride would be held April 17, beginning at Chillicothe and continuing to Cameron.

The next meeting of the council is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7.
