NCMC Students Do Well At Competition
Seven members of the North Central Missouri College Delta Epsilon Chi business organization have placed in state competitions and are now eligible for national contests.
Kristi Beagley of Gilman City, Jessica Peery of Bethany, Jeremy Hall of Chillicothe, Jonnie Duff of Princeton, Megan Ingersoll of Unionville, Jamison White of St. Joseph and Lindsey Werges of Warrenton will now advance to the April competition in Nashville, TN.
The entrepreneurial team of Ms. Beagley, Ms. Werges and White earned first-place honors, as did Ms. Ingersoll in management decision making. Third-place recognition went to Hall in hospitality marketing management and to Ms. Ingersoll in apparel and accessories. Ms. Peery and Ms. Duff received a fourth-place award in the business ethics competition.
NCMC Instructor and sponsor of the Business Club Richard Stephens said this year’s winning is one of the best finishes in the history of the local organization and he has high hopes for placement at the national contest next month.
