Democrats in Grundy and Mercer counties on Thursday night elected their local delegates to attend the Sixth Congressional District caucus on March 25 in Chillicothe.
Grundy County chose Randy Bland of Spickard as its delegate for John Kerry while Barbara Pfaff of Trenton was selected to serve as the John Edwards delegate. Alternates were Earl Robinson of Trenton for Kerry and Sharon Ferris of Trenton for Edwards.
Mercer County elected Francis E. King and Nelva J. King as their delegates to the congressional caucus. Alternates are Richard Moore and Teresa Moore.
The state Democrat caucus is April 16 and 17.
Republican delegates will be elected during local caucuses planned for Saturday, March 13. The GOP Sixth Congressional District caucus is slated for April 24.
