Grundy County Sheriff Greg Coon is notifying area residents that the sheriff?s department will not issue conceal and carry gun permits until the Missouri Legislature clarifies the law allowing citizens to obtain the permits.
Coon said he would notify the public when permits are available and encouraged persons to not apply at this time.
