Trenton City Clerk Cindy Simpson has been chosen as president-elect of the Northwest Missouri City Clerks and Finance Officers Association.
Mrs. Simpson was elected to the two-year post during a meeting Feb. 19 in St. Joseph. She was also chosen to serve as the division director, which attends state meetings and reports back to the regional group.
Becky Schomburg of Tarkio was elected president of the association. Other officers include Melinda Graves of Fairfax, secretary; and Maureen Moore of Rock Port, treasurer.
