The Grundy County Commission has accepted a bid for the lease of a new ambulance.
According to the commissioners, who held their regular weekly meeting Tuesday at the courthouse, they accepted a bid from Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri, with an interest rate of 2.44 percent for one year. It is hoped the new ambulance will be delivered next Tuesday. The commission had earlier agreed to put $53,000 down on the vehicle and finance the remaining $50,000 through a leasing agreement.
