Tom Gass, a 41-year-old resident of Kerrville, TX, died at his home on Monday, Feb. 16, 2004. He was a former resident of Trenton and Kansas City.

Tom Gass, a 41-year-old resident of Kerrville, TX, died at his home on Monday, Feb. 16, 2004. He was a former resident of Trenton and Kansas City.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 20, 2004 at the Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton. Burial will be in the Grundy Center Cemetery, east of Trenton.

A family visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2004 at the mortuary.

Mr. Gass was born on May 11, 1942 in Trenton, the son of James Murle and Connie Sue Sharon Glass. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He worked as a horticulturalist in landscaping and gardening. He lived in Kansas City and Trenton before moving to Texas three months ago. When in Kansas city, he worked at Soil Service and The Family Tree. In Trenton he worked at Barnes Greenhouse and the Lakeview Restaurant.

Mr. Gass is survived by one brother, Tim Gass and his wife, Iva, of Kerrville; one sister, Pam Forson and her husband, David, of Kansas City; aunts and uncles, including Everett and Judy Gass of Trenton, Jim and Judy Turley of Trenton, Larry and Nancy Sharon of Lexington and Deanna Wiggins of Peculiar; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Gass was preceded in death by his parents.
