Dreva Imogene Fisher, a 90-year-old resident of Mercer, died on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004 at the Bethany Care Center in Bethany.

Dreva Imogene Fisher, a 90-year-old resident of Mercer, died on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004 at the Bethany Care Center in Bethany.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004 at the Mercer United Methodist Church. Pastor Gary Ponder Williams will officiate. A private burial will be in the Lowry Cemetery, northeast of Princeton, under the direction of the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Service of Princeton.

A family visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Fisher was born on Jan. 21, 1914 in Powersville, the daughter of James Albert and Mollie Imo Reeves Collings. She graduated from Ravanna High School in 1932. She was married on Oct. 1, 1932 to William Harry (W.H.) Fisher Jr., who preceded her in death on Feb. 28, 1994. She and her husband lived on a farm northeast of Mercer until his job took them throughout the U.S. and Canada. They moved back to Mercer in the late 1970s.

Mrs. Fisher was a member of the Mercer United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald Fisher and his wife, Connie, of Marshalltown, IA and W.H. (Bill) Fisher III and his wife, Toni, of Springfield; four grandchildren, Billy and Holly Jean Fisher, Julie Payne and Ronna Dee Hills; six great-grandchildren, Lexie Norem, Chris Carter, Catina Lawson, Collena Payne and Wendy and Ben Fisher; four great-great-grandchildren, Tye, Jaycilyn and Garrett Lawson and Quinton Pierce Johnson; one brother, Bill Collings and his wife, Sally, of Trenton; a sister-in-law, Leona Collings of Mercer; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son and daughter; three brothers, Ferrill, Robert and Kenneth Collins; and a grandson, Jamey Fisher.
