Ada Josephine Limkemann, an 81-year-old resident of Meadville, died on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004 at the Liberty Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004 at the Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home in Brookfield. Rev. John Cook will officiate. Burial will be in the Meadville Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday and the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Limkemann was born on June 28, 1922 in West Point, IL, the daughter of David and Caroline Dickwisch Klingler. She was married on Sept. 11, 1942 to Leon Limkemann, who survives of the home. She was a homemaker and was the owner of Link’s Kennels, where she had worked as a dog broker for 35 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Meadville.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by five grandchildren, Stacy Niemeier of Marceline, Kathy Spencer and her husband, Scott, of Mendon, Bobbi Polk and her husband, Don, of Trenton, Brandy Hastings and her husband, Noah, of Trenton, and John Limkemann of Trenton; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Marie Plowman of Quincy, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, John Frederick Limkemann; and five sisters, Alvina Walton, Lorena Dooley, Esther Dennis, Velma Hurlbert and Arlett Klingler.
