A second candidate has filed for a position on the Trenton R-9 Board of Education, subject to the April 6 election.
Steve Holt of 172 NE Highway O has filed for one of two positions available on the board. Johnathan Smith had previously filed for election to the board. The incumbents include Dr. John Holcomb and Laura Meek. The deadline to file for a seat on the board is Jan. 20 and candidates may file at the Trenton R-9 District Office.
