A 17-year-old Princeton boy was killed in a one-vehicle accident early Sunday morning in Mercer County.
Chris Spease was the driver of a car that was northbound on Route A, one-half mile north of Modena, when the vehicle went out of control and went off the east side of the road, overturning. The Missouri Highway Patrol said Spease was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Mercer County coroner.
Spease was a junior at Princeton High School. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in the Princeton R-5 School gymnasium. A complete obituary appears on page 10 of today?s Republican-Times.
