Several offices and businesses have announced plans to close early on Wednesday and be closed on Thursday for the New Year’s holiday.
Closing early on Wednesday will be Laredo MFA, noon; Trenton MFA, Green Hills Community Action Agency and Trenton City Hall/Trenton Municipal Utilities, 3 p.m.; Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri, 3:30 p.m. inside and 5 p.m. drive-up; and Granny’s Attic, 4 p.m. Closed all day will be the Grundy County-Jewett Norris Library and Engleman-Johnson Insurance.
Closed on Thursday will be Trenton City Hall/TMU, the Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce/License Bureau, the Grundy County Courthouse, the Grundy County Prosecutor’s office, the Grundy County Family Support and Children’s Division, Green Hills Regional Planning Commission, Green Hills Community Action Agency, Grundy County Farm Services Agency, the Grundy County Senior Center/RSVP, the Grundy County-Jewett Norris Library, Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri, Farmers State Bank, Citizens Bank and Trust, US Bank, Grundy Electric Cooperative, Aquila, Engleman-Johnson Insurance, Kirby Insurance, Granny’s Attic, Laredo MFA and Trenton MFA. The Trenton Post Office will also be closed.
Closed on Friday will be the Grundy County Senior Center/RSVP.
New Hope Industries will be closed on Thursday. Recycling pickup done on Thursday will be done on Wednesday, with normal pickup times resuming on Friday.
The Republican-Times office will close at noon on both Wednesday and Friday. A newspaper will be published on both days. Those who have their papers delivered to them in Trenton can call the R-T office until 3 p.m. on either day if they do not received them.
