The Spickard R-2 Board of Education met Wednesday night, discussing school tuition.
Principal Ruth Ann Shipps said that members of the board had visited with boards of education at Princeton and Trenton concerning the tuition rates those school districts charge to Spickard for the students who attend high school there. Ms. Shipps said the issue was discussed by the board, but no action was taken.
The board tabled policy updates until the next meeting. An executive session for personnel and student matters was also held, but no announcement was made.
It was announced that the school Christmas program would be held at 7 o’clock tonight at the school. Students in preschool through eighth grade will participate.
The next board meeting will be on Wednesday, Jan. 28.
