Garnett Virginia Beverlin, a 90-year-old resident of Macon, died on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003 at the Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon. She was a native of Trenton.

Garnett Virginia Beverlin, a 90-year-old resident of Macon, died on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003 at the Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon. She was a native of Trenton.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15, 2003 at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Trenton. Rev. Jim Bolin will officiate. Services are under the direction of the Hutton and McElwain Funeral Home in Macon.

Mrs. Beverlin was born on Dec. 15, 1912 in Trenton, the daughter of Harry Andrew and Florence M. Arboghast King. She was married on July 17, 1929 at Chillicothe to John Russell Beverlin, who preceded her in death on July 24, 1990. They moved to the area from Illinois in 1975.

Mrs. Beverlin is survived by three daughters, Patricia A. Lowrey of Macon, Emalou Hess of Port Byron, IL and Marilyn K. McBrayer of Sedalia; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mabelle Wilson; and a great-grandson, Troy James Stickler.
