Kathryn A. Lyon, a 90-year-old resident of 801 Hickland in Princeton, died at 12:50 a.m. today (Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003) at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

Kathryn A. Lyon, a 90-year-old resident of 801 Hickland in Princeton, died at 12:50 a.m. today (Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003) at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003 at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton. Brother Guy Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.

An open visitation begins at 8 a.m. on Friday, Dec .5, 2003 at the mortuary.

Mrs. Lyon was born Oct. 6, 1913, the daughter of Ernest and Ottie Laffoon Miller. She lived all her life in Mercer County, attending the Princeton school. She was married on March 21, 1935 to James Lyon, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, James Lyon Jr. and his wife, Bronna, of Newtown, and Chester Lyon of Appleton City; two brothers, Denver Miller of Unionville and Richard Miller and his wife, Betty, of Raytown; two grandchildren; Janessa Hodge and her husband, Chris of Raytown, and James Chester Lyon of Newtown; and three great-grandchildren, Schuyler, Jaiden and Keegan Hodge.

Mrs. Lyon was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Eula Goodman and Bonnie Crawley; a daughter, Jansi Kay Lyon; and a grandchild, Alicia Lyon.
