Eldon ?Bud? Chrisman, a 54-year-old resident of 408 Washington St. in Trenton, died Monday afternoon, Dec. 1, 2003 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

Eldon ?Bud? Chrisman, a 54-year-old resident of 408 Washington St. in Trenton, died Monday afternoon, Dec. 1, 2003 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday Dec. 5,2003 at the Union Baptist (Coon Creek) Church, west of Edinburg. Revs. Ron Ward and Tim Hughs will officiate. Burial will be in the Coon Creek Cemetery. Joseph L. Norton VFW Post No. 919 will conduct military graveside rites.

A family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003 at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton. Edinburg Lodge No. 394, IOOF, will conduct lodge rites at 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Chrisman was born Dec. 10, 1948 in Lindley, the son of George Eldon and Dorothy May Dowell Chrisman. He attended Trenton High School. He lived in Trenton most of his life. He had worked for Trenton Foods and Fred Elder Roofing Co. He was a member of Union Baptist (Coon Creek) Church, west of Edinburg.

Mr. Chrisman was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Edinburg Lodge No. 394, IOOF.

He was married on Aug. 3,1969, at Reno, NV to Gabe Casassa.

He is survived by one daughter, Macheal Rabideau of Branson; two sons, George Chrisman of Branson and Victor West of Grant City; four sisters, Daisy May, Elnora Knapp, Rita Hughs and Genelle Chrisman all of Trenton; one brother; Frank Layson of Forsyth; and five grandchildren, Alex Molloy, Gabriel Rabideau, Rowdy West, Colton Chrisman, and Paige West.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Georgia Chrisman; and a niece, Dorothy Lee Chrisman.
