Olive Brennenstuhl, an 85-year-old resident of 1813 Eastview Drive in Trenton, died at 10:10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton, where she had been a patient since Friday, Nov. 7, 2003.

Olive Brennenstuhl, an 85-year-old resident of 1813 Eastview Drive in Trenton, died at 10:10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton, where she had been a patient since Friday, Nov. 7, 2003.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, 2003 at Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton. There is no scheduled family visitation. Burial will be in the Rural Dale Cemetery, east of Trenton.

Miss Brennenstuhl was born on Sept. 19, 1918 in Trenton, the daughter of Jesse F. and Gladys Ream Brennenstuhl. She attended the Union School, east of Trenton, and graduated from Trenton High School in 1935. She graduated from Trenton Junior College in 1937. She taught in Grundy County rural schools, including the Belche, Reed and Union schools before moving to California. She received her degree in teaching from San Diego State College in 1953 and taught elementary school for the Chula Vista, CA school district before retiring and returning to Trenton in 1987.

She was a member of the CVEEA, the SDCA, the CTA and received the Different Organization Office WHO Award of San Diego, CA.

Miss Brennenstuhl is survived by two nephews, Steve Pew of Ludlow and Wayne Pew of Corning, IA; several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
