Winona ?LaVon? McReynolds, an 88-year-old resident of Highland, CA and a former Chillicothe resident, died at her residence on Monday, Oct. 27, 2003.

Winona ?LaVon? McReynolds, an 88-year-old resident of Highland, CA and a former Chillicothe resident, died at her residence on Monday, Oct. 27, 2003.
Funeral services will be held at at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at the First United Methodist Church in Highland, with a family visitation to be held from 9 to 10 a.m.
A graveside service, under the direction of Lindley Funeral Home of Chillicothe, will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens at Chillicothe at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2003. Friends may call from 8 to 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
Mrs. McReynolds was born June 29, 1915 in College Springs, IA, the daughter of Pearl and Eva Luella Clark McCown. She was married on March 24, 1934 to Elmer McReynolds in a double ceremony with her brother, Clark Lavern and Esther Coberly McCown in Trenton. Mr. McReynolds preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 1980.
Mrs. McReynolds was a 1932 graduate of Chillicothe High School. She had lived in California since the early 1970s and attended the First United Methodist Church in Highland, CA.
Mrs. McReynolds is survived by a sister, Zora Weaver of Highland, and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
