Frances Minnick, a 91-year-old resident of Lock Springs, died today (Thursday, Oct. 30, 2003) at the Indian Hills Retirement Village in Chillicothe.

Frances Minnick, a 91-year-old resident of Lock Springs, died today (Thursday, Oct. 30, 2003) at the Indian Hills Retirement Village in Chillicothe.

Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003. Burial will be in the Lock Springs Cemetery in Lock Springs.

A family visitation will be held from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, 2003 at the funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., on Friday and from 8 a.m. until service time on Saturday.

Mrs. Minnick was born March 23, 1912 in Livingston County, the daughter of Frank and Dell Tye Kesler. She was a 1932 graduate of Jamesport High School. She was married on Dec. 9, 1942 to Raymond A. Minnick in Trenton. He preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1993. The couple lived their entire married life in the Lock Springs area.

Mrs. Minnick was a member of the United Methodist Church of Lock Springs.

Mrs. Minnick is survived by two sons, Tom Minnick of Scottsdale, AZ and Ron Minnick of Lock Springs; a sister, Grace Lochner of Evanston, IL; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Kesler; and a sister, Mildred Mason.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lock Springs Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home at P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, MO 64601.
