Mr. Stephens, a 64-year-old resident of Oakley, CA, died on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003 at Oakley, where he had resided the last 19 years.
Mr. Stephens is survived by two sons, Mitchell Wayne and family of Cedar Rapids, IA and William Wesley and family of Everett, WA; four grandchildren; one brother, Robert Stephens and family of Smithville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters; and two brothers.
Following the service, the family will welcome friends at the Wise Community Center in Spickard.
