The Grundy County Nursing Home District Board of Directors met Monday night at Sunnyview Nursing Home, discussing a drug and alcohol policy for personnel.
According to information provided by Assistant Board Secretary Chris Raynes, the interim director is working on a drug and alcohol policy which will hopefully be in a form to be finalized by the board at its regular meeting in November. It is thought the policy will save approximately 3 percent on workmen’s compensation costs.
The board also held an executive session to discussion real estate and personnel matters. No announcement was made.
The board’s next regularly scheduled meeting is Nov. 17.
