John Barry Booth, a 53-year-old resident of Bloomington, IN, died at his residence on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003. The body was cremated
Military graveside rites will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2003 at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton, under the auspices of the Joseph L. Norton Post No. 919, VFW. Resthaven Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Booth was born Aug. 9, 1950 at Rifle, CO, the son of Nolan Freguson and Wilma Jean Lang Booth. He grew up in Rifle and joined the U.S. Army in 1969. He served with the Fifth U.S. Army Armored Recon in Vietnam and received his honorable discharge in 1971. He had resided in Bloomington the past three years.
He is survived by one son, James Martens of Colorado Springs, CO; a sister, Joyce Gerstenberger of Greeley, CO; one brother, Charles Booth of Las Cruces, NM; and an uncle, Larry Booth of Spickard.
