Thelma I. Clark, an 80-year-old former resident of Trenton, died on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2003 at the Regency Care Center in Independence.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003 at the George C. Carson Funeral Home in Independence. Burial was at the Mount Washington Forever Cemetery in Independence.
Mrs. Clark was born on Dec. 15, 1922 in Trenton, the daughter of Leo and Ethel Gardner Allen. She was married to Russell Clark on Jan. 18, 1947.
Mrs. Clark is survived by her husband, Russell, of the home; two daughters, Linda Zucca and Carol Clark of Independence; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Kutzli of Phoenix, AZ; and one brother, Dean Allen of Melbourne, AR. She also has several cousins living in the Trenton area.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, James Allen, Edwin Allen and Eldon Allen; and four sisters, Ruth Allen, Mary Bunds, Maxine Durrant and Verla Thomas.
