Debra Ruth Nellis, a 47-year-old resident of Trenton, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2003 at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.
Funeral services will be held at 7 o’clock tonight (Friday, Sept. 5, 2003) in the chapel of the Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Pastor Trey Allemang will officiate. Cremation of the body will follow the service and her cremains will be interred at a later date at Forest Llewellyn Cemetery in Kirksville. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 o’clock tonight, prior to the service.
Ms. Nellis was born Sept. 26, 1955 in Trenton, the daughter of William Carroll and Carolyn Rose Clemens Anderson.
Ms. Nellis is survived by her parents of Phoenix, AZ; two sons, William Almond of Phoenix and Jason Almond of Kirksville; one daughter, Christina Cassels of Phoenix; two sisters, Vicki Moore of Pagosa Springs, CO and Susan Dennis of San Jose, CA; and two grandchildren, Katana and William Almond.
