Celesta Gertrude ?Sally? Moore, an 83-year-old resident of Princeton died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2003 at the Liberty Hospital in Liberty.

Celesta Gertrude ?Sally? Moore, an 83-year-old resident of Princeton died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2003 at the Liberty Hospital in Liberty.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003 at the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Chapel in Princeton. Rev. Paul Willard will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, northwest of Princeton.

Open visitation and viewing will begin at 8 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003, at the funeral home, where a family visitation is scheduled from 7 to 8 p.m., that evening.

Mrs. Moore was born Sept. 11, 1919 in Princeton, the daughter of Orval A. and Sylvia Moore Sparks. She was raised in Mercer County, where she attended a rural school. She was married to Glenn Edwards Moore on Oct. 31, 1940. He preceded her in death on Oct. 19, 1979 and after his death, she moved from Princeton to Cambria, IA and later to Corydon, IA. She returned to Princeton last fall.

Mrs. Moore is survived by one sister, Florence Woollis and her husband, David, of Cambria, IA; three brothers, Raphel Sparks and his wife, Anne, of Albany,OR, Darrell Sparks of Bettendorf, IA, and Donal Sparks and his wife, Donna, of Chariton, IA; a sister-in-law, Fern Sparks of Princeton; a foster son, Keith Gillespie of Exline, IA; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents; two sons, Glenn Edwards Moore, Jr. and an infant, Phillip Gay; one brother, Doyle Sparks; and a sister, Genevia Vaughn.
