Anna M. Hamilton, an 85-year-old resident of Chillicothe, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003 at North Kansas City Hospital in Kansas City.

Anna M. Hamilton, an 85-year-old resident of Chillicothe, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003 at North Kansas City Hospital in Kansas City.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003 at the First Christian Church in Chillicothe. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call until 8 o?clock tonight (Monday, Aug. 11, 2003) at the Norman-Wagy-Gordon Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Chillicothe.
Mrs. Hamilton was born May 15, 1918 in Laredo, the daughter of George W. and Grace Robertson Pew. On May 18, 1937, she married Max C. Hamilton in Trenton. He survives of the home.
She graduated from Trenton High School in 1936 and was a real estate agent for Dickinson Realty for 10 years. She had also worked for the Chillicothe Hospital, the Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune and Rural Electric Cooperative of Chillicothe.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Chillicothe and was involved in the Hedrick Medical Center Auxiliary. Among her hobbies were planting and working with flowers.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Larry M. Hamilton and his wife Phyllis, of Liberty, Ron Hamilton and his wife Jeanne, of Perrysburg, OH, and Roger N. Hamilton and his wife Bonnie, of Blue Springs; three brothers, Floyd Pew and his wife Eleanor of Waterloo, IA, Chester Pew of Kansas City, KS, and Dale Pew and his wife Freda of Longmont, CO; one sister, Mary Lou Crawford of Trenton; eight grandchildren, including Clay Hamilton, Michael Rumsey, Shelly Renft, Laura Hamilton, Tracey Hallock, Melinda Hamilton, Sarah Long and Elyse Hamilton; and six great-grandchildren.
