The Grundy County Nursing Home District Board of Directors met in special session Monday at the Sunnyview Nursing Home and Apartments, accepting a bid and tabling two items.

Business Office Manager Kathy Flick said the board approved a bid from Lockridge, Constant and Conrad for auditing services. The firm will also do the district’s Medicare and Medicaid cost reports.

The board tabled a decision on the resignation of two previous board members and the naming of their replacements until the Aug. 18 regular board meeting. The board also took no action concerning the resignation of the current legal counsel or appointment of a new legal advisor. Ms. Flick was asked to place an advertisement in the Republican-Times and St. Joseph newspaper for a new administrator at the nursing home, with a deadline of 4 p.m. on Sept. 15.

The next regularly scheduled meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 18.
