Vivian Virginia Buck, an 82-year-old resident of Dimondale, MI, died on Friday, July 18, 2003 at the Kent County Memorial Hospital in Warwick, RI, while on a visit to her son, Jerry Buck, and family in West Warwick, RI. She was a native of Princeton.

Vivian Virginia Buck, an 82-year-old resident of Dimondale, MI, died on Friday, July 18, 2003 at the Kent County Memorial Hospital in Warwick, RI, while on a visit to her son, Jerry Buck, and family in West Warwick, RI. She was a native of Princeton.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. today (Monday, July 21, 2003) at the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Chapel in Princeton. The Rev. Gary Watkins officiated. Burial was in the Princeton Cemetery.

Mrs. Buck was born on Jan. 8, 1921 in Sedalia, the daughter of Jennie Virden. She was raised in Princeton, where she graduated from high school in 1941. She was married on March 28, 1942 to Richard Buck, who preceded her in death on Nov. 13, 1995. The couple moved from Princeton to Bolivar in 1972 and after Mr. Buck?s death in 1995, she left her home in Bolivar to live with her daughter, Sharon Pickett and family.

Mrs. Buck was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Saginaw, MI and a former member of the Princeton First Christian Church. She was active in the Eaton Country, MI, Senior Center. Her life centered around her family.

Mrs. Buck is survived by her daughter, Sharon Pickett and husband, Jim, of Dimondale; two sons, Jerry Buck and his wife, Patricia, of West Warwick, and Robert Buck and his wife, Pattie, of Austin, TX; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother and a daughter, Janet Kay Buck.
