Mildred Christine BeVelle, a 75-year-old resident of Ft. Worth, TX, died on Friday, July 18, 2003 at her home in Ft. Worth. She was the grandmother of Keith Herring of Trenton.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at the First Baptist Church in Chillicothe. Rev. Joe Humphrey will officiate. Burial will be in the Edgewood Cemetery at Chillicothe. Services are under the direction of Slater Funeral Home in Trenton.
A family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 o?clock tonight (Monday, July 21, 2003) at the American Legion Hall, 1400 N. Washington St., in Chillicothe.
Mrs. BeVelle was born at Morrill, NE, on Oct. 29, 1927, the daughter of Ray and Susie Hennessey Erisman. She attended Kansas City schools. She was a member of the River Oaks Baptist Church in Ft. Worth.
She was married at Roswell, NM, in April 1946 to Ray W. BeVelle, who died on Jan. 16, 2000.
Survivors include three children, Ray BeVelle and his wife, Ann of Weatherford, TX, Ronald BeVelle and his wife, Terri, of Poolville, TX, and Vicky Hess of Ft. Worth; one brother, Claude Erisman of Busyrus, KS; two sisters, Maxine BeVelle of Mooresville and Betty York of Ft. Worth; seven grandchildren, Tim BeVelle, Tina Taylor, Ronald Hess, Jeff Hess, Natalie BeVelle, Patty BeVelle and Wesley BeVelle, all of Ft. Worth, and Keith Herring of Trenton; four great-grandchildren, Melissa Hess of Ft. Worth, Gracie and Olivia BeVelle of Alvarado, TX, and Tate Taylor of Ft. Worth; 17 nieces; and 14 nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Lucille Phelps, Norma Pegram and Ruth Ann Day; and one brother, Charles Ray Erisman.
