Mildred E. Lee, an 88-year-old resident of Trenton and former Laredo resident, died today (Thursday, July 10, 2003) at Sunnyview Nursing Home.

Mildred E. Lee, an 88-year-old resident of Trenton and former Laredo resident, died today (Thursday, July 10, 2003) at Sunnyview Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 12, 2003, at the Richardson Cemetery in Laredo, under the direction of the Lindley Funeral Home of Laredo.
A family visitation is scheduled from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2003 at the Lindley Funeral Home in Laredo. Friends may call from noon until 9 p.m. that day at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lee was born Oct. 12, 1914, in Meadville, the daughter of Edward and Sarah Lamp Cooper. She was married to Carl W. Lee on Oct. 2, 1937 in Chillicothe. He preceded her in death on July 13, 1983.
She had lived all of her life in Laredo and was a member of the Laredo Baptist Church.
Mrs. Lee is survived by a son, Robert E. Lee of Kirksville; two daughters, Susan Koenig and Bonnie E. Yardley and her husband, Scottie, all of Trenton; a sister, Betty J. Lewis of Chillicothe; a sister-in-law, Katie Lee VanDyke of Laredo; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Carl Lee, Jr.; two brothers, Russell and John Cooper; and two sisters, Fleeta Boyd and Katheran Baker.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Laredo Fire and Ambulance Department and may be left at or mailed to the funeral home at P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, MO 64601.
