Opal P. Richardson, a 90-year-old resident of Tucson, AZ, died on Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at the Rose of Sharon Care Home.
Her body has been cremated and her remains are to be buried in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton, with her first husband.
Mrs. Richardson was born Dec. 1, 1912 in Mercer County, the daughter of John M. and Bertha F. Crews Pollard. She worked in retail sales as an office manager. She was a member of the Hyacinth Chapter No. 156, OES of Mission, KS and the Presbyterian Church of North Kansas City. Mrs. Richardson and her first husband, Hugh B. Richardson, moved from Kansas City to Tucson in 1973.
Mrs. Richardson is survived by her husband, Hugh Rae; one brother, Marvin E. Pollard of Tucson; one niece; and five nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, one sister and five brothers.
