Dorris Ella Golden, an 89-year-old resident of the Bethany Care Center, died Monday, June 23, 2003 at the care center in Bethany.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2003, at the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Chapel in Princeton. Rev. Danny Decker will officiate and burial will be in the Coon Cemetery, located south of Princeton.
Open visitation and viewing will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2003 at the funeral home, where a family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 o’clock that evening.
Mrs. Golden was born Dec. 24, 1913 in Mercer County, the daughter of Elbert and Clara Evoritt Coon. She was married to Ray Golden, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include three daughters, Rosalea Wright of Princeton, Roma Cooper and her husband, Ora Dale, of Colona, IL and Bonnie Anderson of Jefferson City; and one son, Jerry Golden of Chillicothe.
