A total of 72 graduates of the GED program were recognized during ceremonies held Friday night on the campus of North Central Missouri College in Trenton.
The GED graduates were part of NCMC’s Adult Education and Literacy Program, which is conducted on the NCMC campus as well as satellite sites in Trenton, Hamilton, Gallatin, Chillicothe, Brookfield and Bethany. John Stains is the AEL director.
Leah Chisom, an NCMC student, and GED recipient Ann Schreffler addressed the group. Dr. Marlene Tignor, dean of instruction at NCMC, gave the welcome. Certificates were presented by instructors Carol Mulnix, Pam Dedrick, Marlene Paulus, Jerry Swint, Lela Ruth Marshall, Penny Jennings, Kathy Schwenneker, Justine Ward, Carol Wetherell and Becky Gardner. Other instructors include David Stahl, Justine Ward and Jerald Syferd.
