Donna Frances Timmons, a 79-year-old resident of Brookfield and former Meadville resident, died on Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Kansas City after a lengthy illness.

Donna Frances Timmons, a 79-year-old resident of Brookfield and former Meadville resident, died on Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Kansas City after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2003 at the Norman Wagy Gordon Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Burial will be in the Wheeling Cemetery at Wheeling.
Visitation is under way at the funeral home until 8 o’clock tonight (Friday, June 6, 2003) and from 10 a.m. until service time on Saturday. A family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 o’clock tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Timmons was born on Jan. 27, 1924, the daughter of Roy E. and Sarah Harris Neely. She was married on Sept. 22, 1945 at Trenton to Cecil “Sid” Timmons. He preceded her in death on July 2, 1985.
Mrs. Timmons lived in Brookfield the past eight years after moving from Meadville. She attended the White Cloud School at Wheeling and the Herbert School in Trenton. She was a homemaker and cook at the Meadville School for many years.
Mrs. Timmons is survived by two sons, Ronald Timmons and his wife, Maxine, of Walnut Shade, and Marvin Timmons and his fiance, Lana, of Linneus; two daughters, Mary Allen of Meadville and Brenda Search and her husband, John, of Linneus; two brothers, Alden Neely of Chillicothe and J.E. Neely of Conway, AR; two sisters, Bernice Bowe of Laredo and Ramah Corzette of Dawn; nine grandchildren, Travis Timmons and his wife, Melissa, Douglas Allen and his wife, Debbie, Sherry Morgan and her husband, Ted, Cindy Dougherty and her husband, Greg, Rick Allen and his wife, LaDonna, Jaci Clark and her husband, Jason, Donna Burton and her husband, John, and Derek and Ariel Search; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son-in-law, Richard Allen; a brother, Cecil; and a great-grandson, Michael Allen Tompkins.
