Roy Eugene Hurt, a 68-year-old resident of 2610 Princeton Road in Princeton, died at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at his residence.
The body was cremated and a private service will be held at a later date. Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home of Trenton is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Hurt was born on June 24, 1934 in Trenton, the son of Floyd and Juanita Thompson Hurt. He served in the U.S. Marines Corps during the Korean War. He worked as a restaurant manager in Arizona for 10 years before moving back to Trenton six years ago.
He is survived by a sister, Shirley Hahn, of Trenton; two nephews, Jeff Hahn of Trenton and Mike Hahn of Walling, TN; and a cousin, Jerry Shirley of Trenton.
