Michael Dean Robbins, a 50-year-old resident of Sedalia, died on Monday, May 12, 2003 in Santa Rosa, NM. He was the son of Ken and Gerry Robbins of Trenton.

Michael Dean Robbins, a 50-year-old resident of Sedalia, died on Monday, May 12, 2003 in Santa Rosa, NM. He was the son of Ken and Gerry Robbins of Trenton.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2003 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sedalia. Military rites will be conducted by VFW Post 2591.

Mr. Robbins was born in Allegan, MI on Dec. 19, 1952, the son of Kenneth J. and Geraldine M. Robbins. He was graduated in 1971 from Cheboygan Area High School in Cheboygan, MI and attended Michigan State University until his enlistment in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served five years at Cherry Point, NC. He owned the Rainbow International Carpet Cleaning in Sedalia and was later an over the road truck driver until his death. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and camping.

He was married on Nov. 8, 1989 in Las Vegas, NV to Arleta Gill, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include four children, Trevor and Stephanie of the home, Connie Dwyer and her husband, Tom, of Dunellen, NJ and Kristin Hilton and her husband, Chris, Boyne City, MI; eight grandchildren, Hunter, Tommy, Brandyn, Tanner, Jason, Deseriee, Veronica and Clarissa; his parents; four sisters, Patty Ramsby and her husband, Mike of Cheboygan, Donna Robbins of St. Louis, Bonnie Westfield and her husband, Mark, of Granite Falls, MN and Barbara Rowles and her husband, Bill, of Monroe, LA; a brother, Ken A. Robbins and his wife, Tammy, of Lake Tahoe, CA; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations can be made to the donor?s charity of choice or in remembrance of Mr. Robbins’ children.
